COVID-19 resources

The CCOA is both optimistic and cautious regarding the status of COVID-19 in the community. Chiropractors have been leaders in providing patient care in a safe and ethical manner during a novel viral pandemic.

We hope to continue to see an easing of the impact of COVID-19 in the community and that we can learn to live with COVID-19.

While we are hopeful that the management of COVID-19 is sustainable, if COVID cases rise again and trigger the need for CMOH orders or public health guidelines, the CCOA will return to prompting regulated members to follow a Pandemic Practice Directive.

As Dr. Hinshaw indicated, “learning to live with COVID-19 does not mean forgetting about it”; it means that chiropractors need to continue to create a safe practice environment including screening, cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention and control measures to protect patients.
