Standards of Practice

The Standards of Practice are part of the regulatory framework within which members are required to practice in Alberta, which speaks to specific practice responsibilities.

Failure to adhere to legislation and/or CCOA standards will find a chiropractor subject to the complaint process administered by the CCOA. A complaint can be made by a patient, the Registrar, the Complaints Director or another regulated member.
