Dear Colleagues,
We experienced some technical difficulties yesterday in sending out the Notice to Members which resulted in some members not receiving the email. We apologize for the issue and are working with our provider to ensure it gets resolved. You can access yesterday's notice here and can view all communications regarding COVID-19 on our resource page.
Here is our update for today:
- Currently there is no new direction from the ACAC. The recommendation to limit care to emergent cases remains in effect.
- Please ensure your communications are fully compliant with the ACAC Directive on communications related to COVID-19.
- Please review and adjust your marketing and advertising as needed for this time. The ACAC continues to receive communications from members of the public concerned by messaging that appears tone deaf in the current environment (anniversary specials, new patient specials (not applicable to emergent care)). These are extraordinary times and your marketing and advertising need to reflect that.
- The ACAC is following public health recommendations to stop the spread of COVID-19 and moving to a remote work model. While the ACAC is open for business and all operations will be maintained, the office is closed to all visitors until at least April 30.
Staff remain available by email and phone during regular business hours. Currently we have an influx of calls related to COVID-19 and are prioritizing calls to address urgent needs. We will respond as quickly as possible to your enquiry. Please be patient as it could take up to 48 hours for your call or email to be returned. We want to assure you that we are taking steps to maintain the service we provide to our members as best as possible under the circumstances.
Finally, we can’t say this enough: this is a rapidly changing environment and direction can change quickly. Please know the ACAC is monitoring this situation daily and will update members on changes as new information becomes available.
Warmest regards,
